Our facility only uses energy-efficient methods, including gravity power to feed water from our artesian spring to our facility and other low carbon processes. We partner with other socially responsible businesses, including Whole Food Markets, BARC, an association of citizens with disabilities, who help assemble our packaging and recycle our byproducts, and we join with local and California State conservation agencies on a variety of green projects. Even our spent grains from the brewing process are donated to local 4-H farmers who use them to feed goats and other livestock.
We are the custodians of the Historic Indian Wells Spring, California State historical site #457. The artesian spring that saved the 1849 gold rush party lost in Death Valley and has served desert travels for hundreds of years. We encourage our guests, our employees, our vendors and our business partners to not only drink responsibly, but to live responsibly.
